Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any service operated by bmvp.ai ("we", "us", "our"), including bmvp.io, cantle.bmvp.ai, bmvp.dev, bmvp.app, or this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you do not agree, please do not use our services. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and bmvp.ai, incorporated in England and Wales.

2. Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years of age to use any bmvp.ai service. By using our services, you confirm you are 13 or older.

If you are between 13 and 18, you confirm you have reviewed these Terms with a parent or guardian who agrees on your behalf.

Cantle is a professional subscription product intended for adults. Users under 18 must have explicit parental or guardian consent and supervision.

3. Products & Services

bmvp.ai operates the following services under these Terms:

• bmvp.io — free browser arcade with 50+ games, supported by advertising
• cantle.bmvp.ai — AI-powered miniature horse herd management tool, available on subscription tiers
• bmvp.dev — developer portal and API documentation (planned)
• bmvp.app — product showcase (planned)

We reserve the right to add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any product or feature at any time without notice.

4. bmvp.io Arcade — Specific Terms

bmvp.io is provided free of charge. Access is supported by Google AdSense advertising.

• Games are provided for personal entertainment only. No payment is required or accepted to play.
• Game scores are stored locally in your browser and are not verified by us. Leaderboard entries (when implemented) must represent genuine gameplay.
• We may add, remove, or modify any game at any time.
• Availability is not guaranteed. We do not warrant uninterrupted access.

The QR Quest game, Cantle Runner, Herd Panic, and all other original games are created by and owned by bmvp.ai.

5. Cantle — Specific Terms

Cantle is a subscription-based SaaS product. The following additional terms apply:

Subscriptions

• Cantle will be available on multiple subscription tiers (Free, Pro, Breeder) with pricing published on cantle.bmvp.ai at launch.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, as chosen at sign-up.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

Your Data

• Herd records, health data, and notes you enter into Cantle remain your data. We do not claim ownership of your herd data.
• You may export your data at any time from within the application.
• On account closure, we will retain your data for 30 days (during which you may request export), then delete it.

Account Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• Usernames must be appropriate and not impersonate another person or bmvp.ai staff.
• You are entitled to one free username change per 3-month period. Additional changes may be subject to a fee.
• Notify us immediately at legal@bmvp.ai if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

6. Permitted Use

You may use bmvp.ai services for personal, non-commercial purposes in compliance with all applicable laws. You agree to:

• Use services in a manner consistent with these Terms and all applicable regulations
• Respect other users in any community or leaderboard features
• Not misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organisation
• Keep account credentials confidential (where applicable)

7. Prohibited Conduct

• Score manipulation — using scripts, bots, browser exploits, modified clients, or any automated means to inflate game scores or leaderboard rankings on bmvp.io or Cantle
• Ad fraud — clicking your own advertisements, incentivising others to click ads, auto-clicking ads, or any artificial inflation of advertising metrics. This violates Google AdSense policies and may constitute fraud
• Reverse engineering — decompiling, disassembling, or extracting source code from our services beyond what is publicly visible for legitimate developer purposes
• Scraping — automated collection of content, scores, or data from any bmvp.ai service without prior written consent
• Interference — attempting to disrupt, overload, or compromise the infrastructure of any bmvp.ai service or its upstream providers
• Impersonation — impersonating bmvp.ai, Cantle, any game character, or any bmvp.ai employee or representative
• Harmful content — submitting usernames, leaderboard names, or any content that is offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, or illegal
• Circumventing age gates — providing false information to pass the bmvp.io age verification
• Unauthorised commercial use — using any bmvp.ai service or its content for commercial purposes without our written consent

8. Intellectual Property

All content, software, artwork, game mechanics, characters (including the Cantle horse character), names, logos, and branding across all bmvp.ai services are the intellectual property of bmvp.ai or our licensors, protected by copyright, trademark, and related laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use our services for personal entertainment and legitimate professional use (Cantle). This licence does not include the right to:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute any game, artwork, or content
• Create derivative works from any bmvp.ai content without written consent
• Use "Cantle", "bmvp", or any bmvp.ai trademark in any commercial context
• Sub-license or transfer your access rights to another person

The bmvp.io arcade, individual games (including Cantle Runner, QR Quest, Gravity Flip, Neon Snake, and all 50+ games), and all associated artwork are original creations of bmvp.ai.

9. Advertising

bmvp.io displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Ad content is determined by Google and subject to Google's own policies. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.

You agree not to click on advertisements except out of genuine interest in the advertised content. Fraudulent engagement with advertising is a violation of these Terms and Google AdSense policies, and may constitute a criminal offence.

Cantle does not display advertising.

10. Disclaimers

bmvp.ai services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including:

• Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content
• Freedom from viruses or harmful components

Cantle's AI-assisted features (including health alerts, breeding suggestions, and herd insights) are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional veterinary advice. Always consult a qualified equine veterinarian for health concerns.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, bmvp.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from your use of bmvp.ai services shall not exceed the greater of:

• The amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (for paid services); or
• £100 GBP (for free services such as bmvp.io)

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to any bmvp.ai service at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or at our sole discretion.

You may terminate your Cantle account at any time from within the application settings. Termination of a paid subscription is governed by the Refund Policy.

13. Third-Party Services

Our services integrate with third parties including Google AdSense and Supabase. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms:

We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party services.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will update the "Last updated" date above. For material changes, we will provide notice via the affected service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of bmvp.ai services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary, with all other provisions remaining in full force.
